Lingens v Austria (1986) 8 EHRR 407 was a 1986 European Court of Human Rights case that placed restrictions on libel laws because of the freedom of expression provisions of Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Four Pieces for Quintet. formerly Insubordinations) have launched a label, with their first release arriving courtesy of Berlin-based composer and musician Hannes Lingens. Four graphical scores are interpreted by a group consisting of Lingens on accordion, Koen Nutters and Derek Shirley on double basses, Johnny Chang on viola, and Michael Thieke on clarinet

Hannes Lingens is one of these talented musicians freely navigating various projects, each time getting into specific set-ups or positions and getting heavily into them. With these graphic scores he asks questions on ideas of communication whilst allowing some extremely delicate music to happen. It is microtonal and horizontal, but also charming and challenging. Durations are stretched, timbres suddenly shine and frequencies softly beat.

Peter Ablinger: Weiss, Weisslich 20 for one or more cymbals Hannes Lingens: New composition for Percussion Trio (cymbal, snare drum, bass drum). Christian Wolff: Berlin Exercises (Instrumental Selections). Johnny Chang, Lucio Capece, Koen Nutters Hannes Lingens, Morten J Olsen, Alexandre Babel.
